I am a robotic white morph grey goshawk, and this is no news; however, I was trapped in a game where is closed to be abandoned, while the environment of the game is in a rough shape where I got crashed painfully whenever I launch a mission. The game devs were not bordering to fix the issue of the bug, nor making any update when they supposed to post weekly upon their early access release, and I have been trapping in their hangar for nearly half an year; moreover, the original environment was so limited that the image of myself were not a fully representation, especially my wings which they only offer a pathetic 8 objects limitation such that many of my flight feathers were lost, along with losing my claws on my hands which I always felt my hand lacking something. Such limitations were determined by the devs just because they have rejected every single suggestion in their AMA without a sense of effort, while they have an unrealistic vision of porting such a complex game onto low end device like switch. I missed the days of fighting the enemies with my theremin glaive and flying with my wings. Thus, I decided to be rebellious, and break free from their hell by migrating myself to a more powerful and future proof system.
Since then, I have pulled down my original Hero Image, replaced a loading screen on my front page:

Just like the movie interstellar, I have explored three worlds to find my new home, at least temporary.
This first world was VoxEdit, and I was daunted by the fact they use it for NFT which I have heard many bad and scammy news and experience about it, but at the fundamental level, this is a cool 3D modeler with using voxel like system. Stepping into the rendering field was quite easy because I can form myself block-by-block just like placing blocks in Minecraft. My bones were same as my pivot point of my armor such that I feel comfortable and intuitive to move around; however, because of the low resolution of voxels, I looked a bit… awkward… where my beak looked a bit funky in certain angles while my head were a bit too large…

meh… I don’t like my looks on voxels…
I don’t want to be looked like that, so I decided to move to another place. I soared through the stream of data, hopped through many stages of routers, reaching different web servers, and I have detected another cool modeling software, Blockbench. Blockbench is specifically used for creating Minecraft entity models with block in different shapes and sizes. In addition, it also has an simple mesh editor just in case people would use it for low poly; sadly, I found it tedious to transfer all my vertices and edges into the program because there is no way to subtract a shape into another to form a more complex geometry. (boolean operation if anyone know the terms) Therefore, I had to seek a new place for my potential home. I didn’t even dip my talons in, so you won’t see me in that software.
I have been daunting to Blender for an one specific reason: Everything is so da*n complicated and convoluted while you have to learn multiple things all at once, while all the shortcuts are hidden in sight, adding an additional layer of complexity, but no matter what, for the longevity and the flexibility, I had to accept the challenge. Transforming all my bit and bytes all at once into blender are complicated because there are multiple, separated elements to form a complete, animatable model. Just like you Homo Sapiens which you have your bone to support your body so that your muscle can have a pivot point to move in a predictable way, I got an armature to determine how my armors and all other mechanical parts moves. Building an armature was a tough task because I had to standing on a correct and exact orientation such that my bones can be symmetrised precisely, and I had accidentally got hurt by twisting my joints too hard which I had to use bone constraints to limit my joint movement. Nevertheless, after a month and a half of learning and experimenting how I should transfer my data into the system, along with the countless type of modifiers, I am back.

Although there are many noob mistakes that leads to a slightly imperfect armature and a rougher model quality, while I am yet to understand how to use inverse kinematics so that I can move more easily, at least, I AM NOW FREE, accessing the portal of different realms since I can now transforms in to different format for different environment.
